In this guitar lesson video, I will show you a fun solo guitar arrangement of one of the most popular TV theme songs of all-time, The Addams Family Theme.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

This instantly recognizable piece of music was written and arranged by the longtime film and television composer Vic Mizzy.

I have chosen to use a fingerstyle technique for this arrangement, since that will be the best to recreate the bass and melody lines within one guitar part.

This arrangement can be a bit challenging at times, especially with the fast octave sections interspersed with quick finger snaps. But I feel the challenges are well worth the effort and will have you playing one of the most popular television theme songs of all time, in addition to being a great fingerstyle guitar workout.
