Hi,
Welcome to my new idea, a number of videos showcasing the different string brands and how they sound. So you have to start somewhere and I have decided to start with a brand that I have used since I started playing guitar. D’Addario. In this video we take a look at a set of their coated strings “XS”. Hopefully the video covers most of the things you need to know.

It is my hope that in time we can build this library to cover lots of different brands played on a variety of different guitars. As mentioned in the video in order to get the most from this, try to listen on either headphones of some reasonable speakers, else you might struggle to hear much of a difference.

I didn’t want this to be a review. As I prefer it to be an unbiased resource that can be built upon, so people can make up their own mind , as to what sound they like.
