One of the most interesting ways of diversifying your sound, and setting yourself apart from other guitarist is to learn licks performed on other instruments. This practice forces us to think outside the box, train our ear, and reach for note options that are uncommon to a guitarist vocabulary. So, in today’s lesson we’re going to employ this awesome app called BlueNote, that will allow us to isolate, slowdown, and loop Chris Stapleton’s infamous vocal run heard on “Tennessee Whiskey.”

Since this is a long phrase, full of soulful twist and turns, I’ll show you how to practice using the “chunking method,” breaking it up into digestible segments. Let’s get started! -Rob
